designed to simplify complexity

Targeted intervention and comprehensive oversight
They are strictly designed to facilitate a more targeted and controlled action on the tissue to be sampled due to their structural robustness and the stabilizing needle. The ergonomics of the handle ensure stable movements, optimal grip, and maximum operational safety.

Maximum monitoring for a single operator
Designed to allow rapid, precise, and safe biopsies even under the most complex operating conditions, with usage by a single operator. The ergonomic and balanced design ensures optimal control of movement, stability, and comfort, simplifying the specialist's work and reducing procedural time.

Comfort and versatility
They are equipped with a rotating ring, ensuring freedom of movement and precision even from complex angles, while maintaining complete control over the procedure. Perfectly integrated with THD lines and cameras, they allow for biopsies to be performed under direct visualization during the diagnostic examination, in an immediate, safe, and accurate manner.

Reliable
The high gripping capacity makes all THD-branded biopsy forceps highly reliable. They are designed to ensure a secure tissue grip for biopsy, without risk of slippage, thus avoiding the need to repeat the procedure.
Single-use and sterile
Each THD BIOPSY forceps is single-use and sterile, aimed at minimizing the risk of contamination. All guarantee a high standard level of safety, preventing infections and complications. Each forceps is placed in a single-use package, and it is equipped with a protective cover over the cutting system, safeguarding the packaging.
Ergonomic
The design of the handle of the THD BIOPSY is crafted with ergonomics in mind, allowing the specialist to maintain complete control over the instrument, enabling independent operation without the need for assistance. This ensures that clinical procedures are faster and simpler, increasing the degree of precision.

Three versions,
a singular mission
The THD® BIOPSY line consists of three models designed to meet various clinical needs.
All THD biopsy forceps are rigid and adhere to high standards of safety and reliability.
Model GI
180 mm
Sterile
It has a stainless steel double-toothed biopsy sampling system. The two jaws work synergistically with the stabilizing needle to precisely section the tissue for analysis, ensuring the integrity of the sample.

Model J

High-precision biopsy,
with THD® Light scope HRA Laser
The THD® Light-Scope HRA Laser, in combination with the THD BIOPSY GI and THD BIOPSY J forceps, allows for biopsy under direct and controlled visualization, in a continuous and coordinated workflow.

THD® Light-Scope
HRA Laser
It is the latest generation anoscope, developed in-house by THD for combined use with the THD® HR Station and Laser Station, and can be easily connected to the THD 4k CAM video camera for visualization with magnification up to 58x. It is single-use, atraumatic, and equipped with a housing for the laser handpiece as well as a smoke evacuation system.
Biopsy under visualization with THD® Recto Digital
The THD® BIOPSY GI-XL forceps is designed to reach even the deepest parts of the rectum and, when used with the THD® Recto Digital proctoscope and the digital proctoscopy module of the THD® Software, allows for a biopsy under direct and documentable vision, with immediate acquisition, storage, and sharing of images.

THD® Recto Digital
THD® Recto Digital is equipped with a disposable pump that allows air to be insufflated into the rectum, gently expanding the field of vision. The membranes on the rector-scope cap facilitate the insertion of THD® BIOPSY, without causing air leaks.
This ensures greater visibility and control, reducing the risk of trauma to the mucosa.
