Rapid, straightforward, and precise diagnosis
Guard reflex
Initial blood pressure spike that represents the guarding reflex, or anal cutaneous reflex, when the physician inserts the probe into the anal canal.
Cough reflex
It describes a peak with a rapid decline, reflecting the involuntary activation of the Alpha Motor Neuron.
Resting
The basal tone is determined by the intrinsic tension of the sphincters, primarily driven by the IAS.
